Id Quod Visum Placet
The Thomas Elliott Atelier was founded by three friends committed to craftsmanship, integrity, and enduring beauty. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and created to celebrate life’s most memorable moments.
Our journey began on the feast day of St. Eligius, patron saint of goldsmiths. His legacy of artistic excellence, honesty in craft, and proper orientation of beauty inspires the quiet values at the heart of our work.
At Thomas Elliott Fine Jewellery, a bespoke piece is an heirloom in the making. We would be honoured to craft yours.
Our motto is adopted from St. Thomas Aquinas' definition of beauty: Id quod visum placet. That which, upon being seen, pleases. Each and every Thomas Elliott piece reflects objective beauty in its design, craftsmanship, and creation, and, therefore, pleases.
The Process
Our bespoke creations are manufactured entirely in Toronto, allowing us to maintain high standards of quality, ethical sourcing, and attention to detail.
As proud members of the Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA), we are committed to excellence in both artistry and professional integrity.
Thomas Elliott operates without a physical storefront. Instead, we work closely with our patrons through personalized virtual consultations, guiding them through the design process from concept to completion. Upon the patron's approval of the design, we begin to carefully manufacture the piece in our Toronto workshop. 8-12 weeks later, the piece will be delivered to our patron with care.
This model allows us to maintain exceptional quality while keeping our pricing fair and accessible.
